Hump Day...

Sparks Of Insanity By Vinny "Bond" Marini Wednesday, March 25, 2009

WHY do plane crashes seem to come in multiples? My prayers go out to all of the families who lost someone in both crashes.

WHY did the judges on DWTS have to be so critical of The Woz? OK folks, he is not a dancer. There is no doubt to that, but you have to admit he has improved and he went out there and gave more effort than a few of those others.

WHY did I forget my charger for my laptop and end up not having any power after about 4:00pm on Monday?

WHY have you not visited MANGIA Y'ALL, my new food blog to find out how to make "Duck Duey"?

WHY is this word stuck in my head?

WHY don't I stop this now!?!

So, this last trip was a real toughy. In and out within 24 hours, forgetting my power cord for the laptop....LOL...

I got home yesterday and headed over to Nancy's. She had to leave on a 4 day trip and the ex was not available to keep the boys. As far as I know, he is home today, so I only had one day of being Mary Poppins!

Peter's team began their baseball season last weekend and began by getting 10-run ruled on Friday and then losing a game they had in their hands Saturday morning.

They then woke up and won three in a row to get to the championship game against the team that ruled them on Friday. They lost but by a score of 5-4. This team should be good.

A little music news for y'all...

  2. do you think there will be a third?
(my prayers to them as well)

because the popular kids never like the geek.

you got a lot on your mind.

    I have...I HAVE

    Why indeed

    thank you...whew

no offense...but I'm thinkin' more Mrs Doubtfire than Mary

  3. Sorry you had such a rushed trip. Those are the worst I think. That's when you're bound to forget something, as you did.

I duly subscribed to your food blog and read and commented, so don't WHY me, mister!

  4. DrillerAA Says:
  5. I almost always leave something on my desk at the office that I should have taken with me. It really chaps my hide when I get to my destination and can't find something, only to remember....I left it on my desk? Heck-a-doodle!!!! Now what do I do?

  6. Matt-Man Says:
  7. So, did you dress like Mary Poppins? Cheers Vin!!

  8. Travis Says:
  9. Since it appears to be the day for why questions, I shall add one of my own.

Why don't laptops come standard with 2 power cords? By definition, a laptop is a portable device. So there should be one cord you leave plugged in at your work space and one that you keep in your computer bag.

Seems pretty obvious to me. Otherwise you're crawling on the floor twice a day to plug the dang thing in at work, and forgetting to take it with you on business trips!

  10. Why?
Geez. I'm away a week and you've redecorated. Looks great, Vinny!

  11. Jay Says:
  12. You ask a lot of questions.

    I got nothing.

  13. Starrlight Says:
  14. The Fed Ex in Tokyo crash claimed the life of a Co workers Husband. His two daughters work here too. It has been a very sad week.

Rushed trips are the suck. Totally. Glad you made it back in one piece!

Oh and LOVE LOVE LOVE Leonard =)

  15. Dana Says:
  16. “Sometimes when I'm talking, my words can't keep up with my thoughts. I wonder WHY we think faster than we speak. Probably so we can think twice.”

  18. My Mom used to say the same thing about cracking my knuckles.

  19. Tug Says:
  20. The middle finger on my right hand does that, & it has a little 'bump' on the knuckle.

The plane crashes have seemed to increase since I booked my flight to Phoenix...I'm not happy.
