Check out "Looking At The Sky Friday" participants by clicking on the banner above and heading over to Crazy Working Mom's site.

Sitting outside on Nancy's back deck this past weekend. A full moon lighting the world around us.

I probably should have grabbed the tripod, but they were all at my apartment!

Are we going or not? Nancy and I are still trying to figure out if we can jump in the car today and head 6 hours Northeast...

I keep getting these text messages complaining that there are too many women coming and he needs more men - why do I find that somehow unsettling????

With that in mind...a couple of road songs for y'all this Friday...

Have a wonderful weekend, and yeah, you should make the drive - wish I was closer (or richer, LOL).

  8. ...there was a time, oh yes, there was a time when I did par-tay to Grand Funk (live album)...Grateful Dead are truly an American treasure...

  9. Ralph Says:
  10. Nice eerie moonscape - but the moonlight offers a bright vision that should counteract the bleak night. Or things could be more bleak without the moon...

  11. TopChamp Says:
  12. oooh! Well if you go let me know all about it! I enjoyed track 2 - never heard either before. (ignorance......... sorry x)

  13. Travis Says:
  14. Great moon shot! It looks almost more like a painting than a photograph.

    Drive safe if you go.

  15. Jay Says:
  16. I originally thought I might go too. But, a few months ago, I realized there would be no way I could. I'm bummed. It's going to be a HUGE party. I'll just have to live vicariously through those who did go.

  21. The photo is eerie and mysterious and mystical. Very cool.

Have a great weekend. I think if you don't/didn't head up to TB/Brad's, you'd still have a great weekend. And besides, what man would complain about being with so many women?

  22. Dana Says:
  23. I hope the two of you decided on the road trip, because I think I know your destination! And too many women? How could there be too many women??

  24. For night-time and no tripod, that's pretty good. Very well done.

  25. katherine. Says:
  26. hope you two went...roadtrips are great...and that destination would be wild.

  27. I must admit that without a tripod, this shot is stunning! Very nicely captured. I'd love to be sitting under this beautiful scene. Thanks so much for sharing.
