4 and Counting...

Sparks Of Insanity By Vinny "Bond" Marini Wednesday, September 02, 2009

And even with the excitement, real life still continues.

A few weeks ago a young man, David Bachner, that my son Matt helped coach was found dead on the floor in his home by his mom.

Matt has been greatly impacted by this event and it brought me back to the first friend I lost.

Matt and a couple of other guys put together a drive for t-shirts honoring David for a scholarship the high school is starting in his honor.

Yesterday, Matt sent me the following link.

It is a story worth reading. FIND IT HERE

Thank you for all of your well wishes...to those of you who sit on The Couch and will be making your way to Memphis - please travel safe.

Don't forget the big CD give-away...send your friends...let them comment and vote and you both can win great music...

Pictures...yeah..LOTS AND LOTS of pictures after we return and I get the computer set up over at my new home!

One more post this week...

  6. Again, may the God of all creation grant you all of the joys of marriage for many years to come.

When a youngster passes, we are all reminded of our mortality and that we are not guaranteed tomorrow's light. The question is, "Am I prepared to step into eternity?"
