the rest of the RUBY TUESDAY posts...

I believe it was five weeks ago when a tornado came through Olive Branch where I will be living in two weeks or so. The home where this picture was taken is right along the main road Nancy's development sits on.

Look at the top of the trees, how they were sheared off. Some of the homes lost shingles on the roofs, but there was no major structural damage in her neighborhood. They are still cleaning it all up.

right down the road there was more damage to homes, with one house losing it's entire second story.

Of course, the children's play-set, sitting there untouched...and it's shades of red allows us to use this today.

merlinmoon

Alex Deep, also known as, Merlinmoon uses his talents in songwriting, guitar, and keyboard to muse his two loves—the mellow music of ‘70s rock/electronica and his spiritually—based philosophy—which then is translated to the magical sounds that echo through his music.

The 25-year-old grew up in the slums of Venezuela and discovered that writing and playing music allowed him to escape from the extreme circumstances he was born into. He found inspiration through his dreams which he would assume the moniker Merlinmoon to become his alter ego. He would go into this stream of consciousness while playing his music and it would take him to a world far away from everything he knew. Music became his preeminent currency right away.

    5 days!

  5. The damage that tornadoes cause is amazing, how some things are destroyed and others sitting right there aren't touched.

    Hope Nancy's property wasn't damaged.

  6. Yowzers, I must have missed the post about the tornado... so glad there wasn't any damage to your future home!

  8. I've only watched Flipping Out a couple of times because Jeff really bothers me-but I'm weirded out to know that Jenni also a rapper. Weird!

  9. Jay Says:
  10. I was determined to hate "Flipping Out" but I actually kind of like it. I was also determined to hate Jeff, but when I saw him on some show being interviewed I actually .. well, I didn't really like him so much, but didn't hate him. I think it was because he is well aware of all the things about him that are annoying. When people acknowledge those things and aren't defensive or a-holes about it, it makes them harder to hate.

  11. Been thinking about you a lot this past week. Saturday will be here before you know it. Wish I could be there to share the fun and the joy.

  12. Starrlight Says:
  13. I think Jay and I saw the same show. I'd rather eat nails that work for Jeff though.

SONGBIRD: We wish you were going to be here also

STARR: LOL that seems to be the case with most/.
