HECK-A-DOODLE only 9 days until the BlogBlast For Peace.

Get your Peace Globes going…come on a ripple

Show Us You Can Be A Worker Bee!

I can tell you something that brings peace to my heart and that is seeing the smile of contentment on the face of my bride...

At the last minute, we decided to take a ride up into the Ozarks of southern Missouri and Northern Arkansas. We found what looked like a clean motel room for $49.00 and took a leap of faith. The motel was in Lakeview, a mile from the Bull Shoals Dam ... clean and a good bed...a FIND!

We got home a short while ago and it is late Sunday and my Yankees are on... I will show you where we went and what we saw tomorrow..

BUT...yes, it is true...we were honored to have been the first bloggers to have ever met up with JAY of Cynical B**tard" Fame.

Honestly, I did not know we broke his cherry! That is very cool...

We met Jay in the town he grew up in, Yellville, AR...we had breakfast and spent some time chatting..and Jay is who he is on his blog and with his V-Logs...we laughed over chocolate gravy and only wish we could have spent more time together and hope that Jay will take advantage of the invite to Olive Branch soon...

Be back tomorrow with more pictures..

  3. So you went to Yellville, AR. did ya. You were practically on the banks of one of the most scenic rivers in all of the U.S. And, the Buffalo River supports one of the finest smallmouth bass populations in the country as well.
You need to go back in the summer and float a portion of that river.

  4. out he doesn't steal your bride!..

  5. BUD: OH yes they Did!

DRILLERAA: We went to the Buffalo Point Park and hiked down to the river...
