TIME TO BOOGIE...the Savoy Brown way...

30 Of Your Sparks

  1. TopChamp Says:
  2. I don't know! Bum. The brown looks like a pine cone pattern but the rest - no idea.

  3. DrillerAA09 Says:
  4. I think I see pretzels and pasta. If that meat is oysters, count me out. I have NO idea what the brown thing is. Did this come from your kitchen or an episode of Iron Chef America? It looks like something that Morimoto would do. Just sayin'

  5. Patti Says:
  6. I see penne pasta filled with something, and some sort of pastry shells filled with something else!

Very attractive food presentation, Vinny. You captured the colors and patterns of nature. Or something like that!

  7. Ken Says:
  8. Pinecone Pasta ala Entrails

  9. LAC Says:
  10. Looks to me like a really cool pumpkin decorated with natural items.

  11. TOPCHAMP: LOL...I knew this would be fun

DRILLER: I did cook this weekend and I took this picture this weekend...so...

PATTI: I like that something filling!

    MICKEY-T: OOOOO so close

    SHUTTERBUG: Interesting thought...

  12. It's some kind of seed pod from a tree. Freaky...

  13. SONGBIRD: A freaky tree pod...ummmm, I am thinking....no!

  14. Jay Says:
  15. It looks like some kind long or wrap that has been sliced in small round slices and some pasta and maybe ham or Canadian Bacon slices and some pretzels sticking out of the middle of it.

  16. ...I think it should be obvious to everyone that this is the appetizer plate that Savoy Brown called for in their rider for their last tour, from whence the boogie came....

  17. JAY: Very detailed...very complete..very wrong!

PHFRANKIE: See now, I love the way your brain works

  18. Lunch. I see my lunch. It's being delivered, right?!

  19. BeckEye Says:
  20. I was thinking that Savoy Brown were those country guys who won Star Search way back, but then I realized that's SAWYER Brown.

  21. ...now for my official guess: this is a centerpiece or some other display of natural items such as grass, stalks, bark, pine cones, ect. depicting various foods. Whaddayathinkamenow?...

  22. STARR: Did you not answer the door? he could not lave it since it is perishable...

    BECKEYE: LOL yup SAWYER Brown...

PHFRANKIE: sameasithoughtbefore - you am one smart cookie

  23. ...I am quite interested in what my prize might be,sir...

  24. PHFRANKIE: I said you were a smart cookie..did I say you won?

    Did I mention a prize?

  25. Patti Says:
  26. Bwahaha - funny you should mention Ozzy in your comment on my blog.

Ralph's sister bumped into Sharon Osborne in an elevator in Dublin last month, but they didn't converse.
What are you supposed to say in such an unexpected situation? How's Ozzy?
I dunno what I would say.

  27. Dianne Says:
  28. I saw pasta and clams LOL
actually I saw pasta and couldn't focus after that

    I love me my pasta

  29. Being that I have a very limited knowledge of foods like this, I can't even begin to guess.

I would, however, venture to say that it's probably all incredibly delicious.

  30. Absolutely NO idea! And you made me read ALL the comments and ALL your responses and I learned nada, Vin! :)

  31. PATTI: I thought you would enjoy the Ozzie comment..I would have said "HEY SHARON...what's shaking?"

DIANNE: Who does not love pasta?

SOUTHERN: Oh man...you will be sorry you gave up so fast

    MARY: LOL...that was my plan!

  32. Unknown Says:
  33. I remember seeing Savoy Brown years ago, they were opening for someone else, I can't remember who, I want to say Pat Benatar but I don't think that's right. It was around the time that she was popular though. Pretty cool seeing them as the opening band though.

  34. Ralph Says:
  35. Okay, I see a sandwich made up of shaved beef and accouterments wrapped up in a tomato tortilla. And I see stuffed pasta tubes, stuffed with, maybe gorgonzola. And homemade russet chips (crisps?).

All three items are artfully presented in a pineapple shaped hors d'oeuvre platter. That is what I see. Combined with drinks before dinner at say 7:00? it whets my appetite, anyway...

  36. Mimi Lenox Says:
  37. I am NOT looking at anybody else's comments first. Well...it looked like stuffed clams at first and then a peacock plume. (and I haven't even had pain meds today..don't start with me).

    It's a flower arrangement.
    Am I right, Nancy?

    But it could be pasta.
    Not sure.

  38. Mimi Lenox Says:
  39. I see that Phfrankie guess what I thought too and won. BAHHH!!!

    Late to the party.

  40. Mimi Lenox Says:
  41. This comment has been removed by the author.
  42. JOHN: Also saw them, but can not remember what year of college they appeared on campus...

    RALPH: Great answer!

    MIMI: Interesting guess also!

  43. Tug Says:
  44. I think it's the macaroni wreath I made for my mama when I was in kindergarten. ;-)

Obviously, no clue, but definitely wanted to stop by & say hi!

  45. katherine. Says:
  46. most of it looks like it includes some sort of fish or seafood....so I'm gonna pass
