Fast Friday

Sparks Of Insanity By Vinny "Bond" Marini Friday, February 26, 2010

Don't know about you, but this week has taken a year for me.

Guess part of it is due to Nancy being gone, down in Baton Rouge on business.

These continuing snow storms are wrecking havoc with my mailings at work, as we hold back mail to the areas with snow on the ground...and that is over half the country!

This is the snow cover map from yesterday. The light blue is 2"-4"; medium blue is 4"-8"; Dark blue 8"-16"; the darker pink is 16"-24"; and the hot pink is 24"+

Now that is a snow covered country!

Steve and Joe and the boys have kissed and made up it seems...Aerosmith have announced their "Cocked, Locked and Ready to Rock" European summer tour — with Steven Tyler.

The band made the announcement Thursday. It also posted a video on its Web site in which Tyler, sitting with the rest of the band, jokes: "I just auditioned and I got the gig."

"We're coming your way and rocking your world! Look out because here we come," he says as he looks at guitarist Joe Perry and the group breaks out in laughter.

I am exhausted..

Y'all have a damn fine weekend...

See you on Monday

  17. I agree, this week seems like its been a lot longer than seven days.

  18. Kimmie Says:
  19. I am in agreement also...I am so tired of the Winter. It snowed like a mother today here in my area of New York. We get the lake effect off of Lake Erie...dumps way to much on us.

I am sure your week seemed extra long because your Nancy has been gone away. It is always like that. She will be home before you know it and you will feel right as rain.
    Hugs to both of you.

  20. TopChamp Says:
  21. we are also having a snowy winter. It is both exciting and frustrating. I love the snow, but it makes commuting difficult.

  22. I hear ya on the long week feeling, my friend. Totally.

    Sigh.

Hope you and Nancy have a great weekend.

  23. Tug Says:
  24. Have a wonderful weekend Vinny... we've got no snow to speak of, but tons of mud. I'd rather have snow. :-)

  25. Jeff B Says:
  26. I can't imagine Aerosmith with anyone but Tyler behind the mic.

We've been enjoying a much more mild than normal winter this year. I haven't been sniveling about the rain or cold temps at all (for a change)
