Five On Friday...

Sparks Of Insanity By Vinny "Bond" Marini Friday, April 16, 2010

Participating in Travis' Five For Friday meme again and following up on the WayBack Machine Monday Matinee On The Couch story from yesterday.

Each week TRAVIS of Trav's Thoughts" hosts a musical meme where in you get to select five songs and post them. They may be thematic, they may be from one band, they may be a random five songs. I began this last week and really enjoyed it.

Now, Travis lays out some guidelines for this meme and they go like this:

1. Grab the banner, make your post title Five on Friday, and be sure to link back here.
2. Go to to make your play list of five songs. Choose a particular theme to share with us. You can simply post the play list, or you can add a little summary about what you are sharing.
3. I don't know how to make a specific linky, so be sure to leave me a comment to let me know that you participated.
4. No tags, but feel free to invite your friends to play along if they need a post topic on a Friday.

We give you five from the band named in the story - Survivor...

7 Of Your Sparks

  1. Jay Says:
  2. I never realized they released any songs other than "Eye of the Tiger." ;-)

  3. Travis Cody Says:
  4. Well dangit! I forgot how much I enjoy their music. Thanks for this Set!

  5. Marilyn Says:
  6. I listened to this twice through while I did other things. Forgot how much I liked them.

  7. Linda Says:
  8. Wow, more memories! Funny how just listening to a song can take you back years and conjure up remembrances that you had long forgotten.

Ah, to be that age again but alas ... only through song!

  9. I actually hadn't heard any of these before, only Eye of the Tiger. But that's a classic.

  10. Mimi Lenox Says:
  11. Wonderful list! I need to play this meme of Trav's. It's a good one.

  12. Patti Says:
  13. Ah, the 80s...I was there.

I remember these songs, except for "Burning Heart." I certainly remember "Eye of the Tiger." I think I did an aerobics routine to that one.

    Happy weekend, Vinny!
