Sparks Of Insanity By Vinny "Bond" Marini Tuesday, March 06, 2012

A gate is a point of entry to a space enclosed by walls, or a moderately sized opening in a fence. Gates may prevent or control entry or exit, or they may be merely decorative.

The definition of the word GATE. But since 1972, the poor word GATE has been attached to anything having to do with a scandal.

Of course the originator was the Watergate break-ins orchestrated by the Republican Party which ultimately led to the resignation of Richard M. Nixon as President of the United States.

Since then, every scandal has had the word GATE attached to it.

Alas, the poor Gate has such an ominous connotation in today's society.

Do you know them all? How about a little test to see if you can attach the Scandal-GATE to its actual scandal.
