Man, I gotta admit, Raphael Saadiq does some very nice work. I went to his website and was extremely impressed with the sound. His newest album would make a nice compliment to my Santana Ultimate Warrior album.

I love this album. It's one of my favorites from the year. This man can sing. I really think he should have won the Grammy, not to take anything away from Jennifer Hudson who is a fine singer, but I think we all knew she was going to win that one. I've been championing Mr. Saadiq now for awhile, this album is that good.

I'm all for protecting people's rights when it comes to their creative work, but our government and groups like the one mentioned in Blogger's response and especially the RIAA are all stuck with 20th Century mindsets. They need to bring in people who actually understand "new media" to actually deal with these issues.
